In addition to our core electrical services, we provide specialised 3D printing and CAD design solutions using FDM technology. Whether you need 2D sketches transformed into 3D models or prints from supplied parts, we’re here to help. We also offer small-batch production and prototyping to support your design and manufacturing needs—all from one streamlined service.
Our Process….
We start our design process by receiving an old part or a technical drawing.
The part/ component can be collected by ourselves or sent through the post.
A technical drawing can be either 2D or 3D. For us to be able to print, supplied 2D drawings will need to be modelled as 3D. We can just convert your drawings; however, an additional charge will be.
Supplied Part
Modelling
We create 3-d models using Fusion 360 and send you the File to inspect. Once we get the go-ahead, it’s onto the slicing software which transfers the model into a usable file for the printer to use when producing the part.
Part Production/ Post part production
Once the printer has done its job, we examine the part thoroughly. This is to ensure high print quality and that the part is up to the standards agreed. We then run through a series of tests the ensure longevity.
